ABOUT EMILY HUFF

Born and raised in the heart of Atlanta, Emily Huff deeply rooted in the city that shaped her values, vision, and unwavering love for community. Growing up in Buckhead, she was surrounded by a strong sense of tradition—her family owned and operated the oldest retail store in the area for 64 years. That legacy of hard work, connection, and service left a lasting imprint on her life. For Emily, Atlanta isn’t just home; it’s a core part of who she is.

 

From an early age, giving back was an integral part of her life. Recognized among the “Top 20 Under 20” by the City of Atlanta, she also served as both a donor and spokesperson for the nonprofit Girl Talk Inc. between the ages of 10 and 14. These early experiences instilled in her a passion for leadership, encouragement, and empowering others.

 

In her earlier career, Emily explored creative and public-facing paths as a social media influencer and actress. But as her platform grew, so did her desire to use it for a greater purpose. After experiencing a season of uncertainty about her direction, she made a spontaneous decision one weekend to feed the homeless in downtown Atlanta. That single act of service became a turning point. In those moments, she discovered beauty in connection, joy in giving, and a sense of purpose that surpassed anything she had felt before.

 

Today, Emily Huff is the founder of Huff Housing Foundation, a faith-driven nonprofit committed to serving individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship. As a philanthropist, her mission is simple yet profound: to be a vessel of love, compassion, and hope in her city—one person at a time. For her, this work is not just a cause, but the calling she was created to fulfill.
